Business Budget Book User Manual
Start by downloading the free file located at the bottom of the page. Once you have successfully downloaded the template you’ll be ready to enter your financial information.
On the main page you can select the length of periods you want to monitor at the top and the start and end date next to that cell. Next enter your income for each new period in the row highlighted in white.
You can track multiple types of incomes that your business earns. Simply click on the cell containing “Income 1-3” and change it into a name that corresponds with your income type. All that’s left for you to do is enter the amount you earn for each period.
You can also enter your expenses in the next table. This template provides you with a lot of examples of expenses but you can change the pre-written text to new expenses that are common for your unique business.
All of your incomes and expenses will be calculated into convenient totals at the bottom of the screen. The Budget Book also gives you simple line graph to illustrate the trends associated with your sales and inform you when your business is excelling for that particular period.
