How to Use the Vehicle ROI Calculator
You will start by downloading the template file to your computer. To do this, you can just follow the link at the bottom of this page.
Now, at the top of the page, enter data in the fields with white background. The Results are displayed in the bottom 2nd half. Here you’ll have to enter the current gas per gallon price so you can get an accurate assessment.
You will enter the number of cars, the life-cycle of your vehicle, and the average weight of your car in the top row.
In the next row, you will enter the local miles, the intrastate miles, and the interstate miles.
Finally, you will enter the average MPG (Miles per Gallon), for the local, intrastate and interstate miles as well.
The template will then take the data you entered and provide you with a comprehensive set of data at the very bottom of the template, like the image below.
You will get the cost per unit, number of gallons you’ll save over time, the value of your vehicle, and your total ROI for your car.
