Using the Camping Inventory Sheet
Once you have the free Excel sheet open, you can begin customizing the stock information. Start by going through the individual categories and changing them to items more useful for you.
You’ll see some pretty common items listed as categories. For example, in the “Shelter and Bedding” category, you will enter items like your tent, sleeping bag, etc. However, categories such as “Cleaning items” or “Chuck Box Items” can easily be changed to things pertaining to your specific trip.
To change one of the pre-written items, simply click the cell you want to edit and start writing a new item instead.
When you’re satisfied with your categories, it’s time to fill up those sections with the actual items. Go through your categories and enter the things you’ll need to make your camping trip a success. Maybe you added an “Electronics” category and want to include a solar panel charger, your phone, or an IPad. Simply use the same method as you did above to change the items already listed on the page.
