College is a big step in your life. It’s a chance for you to venture out into the world and get a taste of independence for the first time, along with learning new and exciting concepts as well. You need to make sure you’re prepared though and that’s where the College Travel Packing List comes into play. This template gives you a way to write down everything you’ll need before you move away from home. You may not consider the small things that go into your daily life such as laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and other handy things. This document helps you remember those things as you get ready to go out into the world.

Start by downloading the template to your compute by clicking the link below.
Next, go through the template and make any changes you deem necessary. The Travel Packing List is broken down into different categories for your convenience. When you need to change something, simply click the cell you want to change and start typing a new item.
You can also highlight certain checkboxes to illustrate importance. You can see an example of this in the “Toiletries” and “Clothing” section.
Once you have all your categories and items organized and edited, begin packing and checking the items off as you go. Start with the items that you highlighted and continue through the list until everything has been checked off.
You can either enter your checkmarks into your computer or print the document and check them off by hand. To print the Packing List, simply press the “File” button at the top of your screen and select “Print” from the drop-down menu.
Now you should have everything you need to live comfortably as you adjust to your new life away from home.
