Work Estimate Template Instructions

Start by downloading the file below. Once you click on the new estimate template, you are ready to start customizing your new document.

This template is formatted to be as simple and painless as possible. There are only two tabs for you to look through. The first tab tells you where to mark your organization’s information. This will apply changes to the actual work estimate document on the second tab.

The document is also structured in a way that highlights the important sections. Your organization’s contact information is located at the top, under that is the description of the work you will be performing, which can be typed or hand-written. Below the description box is an itemized section, for listing your services in more detail. Finally, the estimate template includes a convenient line for signature and date at the bottom.

When your estimate sheet is finished and you’re ready to print the document, click on the “File” tab in the top left corner, and select the “Print” button, to have the file sent to your printer. You can also choose the “Save As” option to keep the estimate sheet safely stored on your computer.
