How to Use the Travel Items Checklist
The first step you need to take is to download the free template by clicking the link provided for you at the bottom of this page.
The next step is to start entering your itinerary list items into the template. To enter an item, you will simply click inside a cell and write the item under the “Item” column.
There is also a convenient “Category” column in which to separate your belongings into their own categories. You should stick to a select few general categories to keep the template as simple as possible.
You will see quite a number of examples in the document for different ways to list your categories. You can have a “Medical” section for your first-aid kit and even an electronic section for your laptop, phone, or other electronic accessories you want to bring with you on your trip.
When you list looks good and well stocked, it’s time to pack. Go through your list, item by item, and when you actually pack an item in your luggage, you will enter a “1” in the first column of the Items Checklist. This will create a digital checkmark in the “Done” column of the Items Checklist.
