Using the Trip Planner Template
The first step, as always, is to download the free template file to your computer. To do this, simply click the link at the bottom of this page.
The home tab will serve as an overview to the entire document, but you will actually start entering your information on the other tabs.
Begin in the “Personal Details” tab of the document. In this section, simply enter your name and the contact information displayed in the other cells as well.
The “Travel Details” tab is where you can list all the flight times of your trip for both departure and return flights.
The “Car Rental” tab is pretty self—explanatory if you need to rent a car, the insurance, and any other relevant information you want to include in this tab.
Finally, the “Emergency Details,” you will enter emergency contact numbers you’ll call if you need help with something in particular. This is especially helpful if you’re traveling abroad.
