How to Use the Wedding Guest List Register
The free template is available by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. Once you have the document you can start entering the names of your friends and family.
In the first column of the Guest List, “Name for Label,” you will enter the recipient’s name. It’s best to fill out this entire column first with names before you start entering the important details for each one.
When you have completed the list of names in the first column of the Guest List, proceed to the second column, “Guest(s) is”. This space allows you to enter their relation to you for the wedding. This way, the template will help you plan seating arrangements later on.
The “Names on Invitation” column is pretty straightforward. Invitations can be an extravagant way to announce your wedding and invite people to the ceremony. That being said, you want to make sure the right name is beautifully displayed on the invitation itself. You can also list the number of guests you want to allow people in column “E”.
If you want to keep track of the number of men and women for gift bags or other things for the ceremony, you can list that in the template as well.
Finally, the last few columns of the Guest List let you enter of their invitation has been sent, if they accepted, and if you have already sent a “Thank You” card for their gift after the ceremony has taken place.
